5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to content you register. You grant DCI a license to store, index, display, and distribute identifiers solely to provide the Service.

DCI IP: All trademarks, logos, algorithms, registry databases, and platform technologies are owned by DCI or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Third-Party Content: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have sufficient rights to register or reference third-party works.

6. Registry Transparency and Version Control

  • Audit Trails: DCI maintains public audit trails and version histories for registered identifiers to preserve trust.
  • Privacy Protection: Sensitive metadata may be redacted or anonymized when required by law or verified institutional request.
  • Fraud Prevention: Changes to identifiers are recorded to prevent fraud or manipulation.

7. Copyright Compliance and DMCA

DCI complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international frameworks. When submitting infringement notices, please provide sufficient detail and a sworn statement. Counter-notifications are allowed, and repeat infringers face account termination.

8. Community Conduct

Users must maintain professionalism and respect toward others, especially in collaborative academic or cultural projects. Content that violates law, promotes hate speech, or endangers public trust will be removed.

9. Data Protection
